The market reviews are composed of the most important technical information, prices and the name and addresses of the producer and the German importer.

The technical information has usually been supplied by the provider of the machines.

All machines and equipment traded within the European Union, must comply to the safety regulations. This should be provided by the producer or distributor by a so-called "EU declaration of conformity" which is illustrated by the CE mark. The necessary inspection is usually done by the producer or importer himself.

The GS or ET safety inspection marks can be obtained by voluntary testing of the machine by independent approved institutions, like the German "Prüfstelle für Land- und Forsttechnik" (DPLF) (Test Institute for Agricultural and Forest Techniques).

Not only the safety of machines can be tested, but also their suitability for practical application can be evaluated. These evaluations can be documented by the FPA or DLG mark.
